The world-famous secret agent of the silver screen is here to stay. After the spectacular film production of the latest bond adventure “Spectre” with Daniel Craig playing the leading role, the genre icon now has a permanent home in Sölden. The cinematic exhibition “007 ELEMENTS” will receive guests at the Gaislochkogl from summer 2018. Guests will soon be able to immerse themselves in a 1,300-m² universe dedicated to the famous spy. In addition to the focus placed on scenes filmed in the Ötztal valley for Spectre, other classics of the genre will also be highlighted.
Designed by the Tyrolean firm Obermoser, the archicture is a real eye catcher. The architects responsible were already involved in designing the stylistic idiom of the Gaislochkoglbahn cable car and the gourmet restaurant ‘ice Q.’ The building’s thrilling interior design was conceived by the specialists of Optimist Inc. from Los Angeles. Google and the legendary band Daft Punk have already profited from their creative concepts.
The self-service and table-service restaurant at the Rettenbach glacier features an all-new gastronomic concept! Thanks to comprehensive renovations and a new slope connection, the era of stair climbing is finally at an end for skiers. The highlight of the outdoor area is the 675-m² sun terrace. Meanwhile, giant glass windows frame magnificent views of the mighty glacier and mountain peaks beyond. The new ski bridge is another welcome innovation to the level of comfort enjoyed throughout. This new structure allows direct access to the valley-run from slope 30.
During the Electric Mountain Festival (5 & 6 April 2018), top international DJs will gather at the Giggijoch at 2,300 m to celebrate with fans. Oliver Heldens, aka HI-LO, is amongst the headliners already booked. With his hit “Gecko,” the Dutch musician landed near the top of the charts. Not going to be in Sölden during the festival? No worries because sports and entertainment will be available all winter long at in Sölden. For example, there’s the weekly Sölden Party on Friday or the monthly Electric Mountain Parties.

Whether freeriding, slaloms or moguls slopes are your forte, it’s the most diverse athlete that wins. Those who beat the high score can will fabulous prizes.
